THE PROCESS

Using a potters wheel clay is centered and worked to create a basic shape.  This shape is then pressed, pulled and open to the desired form: bowls, plates, pitchers the possibilities are endless.

With guidance and support you will learn to center clay to form a cylinder which is the basis for other shapes. Classes are small and designed for individual attention so that each student can develop skills in a relaxed environment. You will have guided studio time once a week and plenty of open studio time to practice.
