In this 2.5 hour class you will use templates and handbuilding techniques to create 4-5 wall heart promesas or milagros. Traditionallly made of metal, these little offerings (dijes or promesas) are used to represent petitions or favors asked to saints in the name of a loved one or the petitioner. They are hung on the saint's garment or placed as offerings on altars. Inspired by this tradition, you will be guided to create clay milagros to adorn your wall and reflect your own creative vision and personal intention. Use of all materials and firing are included in fee as well as a complementary tea, coffee and pastries. Come and start the month of February with this beautiful class.
